We plan to provide $10,000 to support the purchase of a newer vehicle for the Transformation Center program, replacing their existing van. The vehicle is essential to help get mothers and their children to various appointments (doctor, counseling, court, etc.), and get kids to school.

KOSOVO: ($7,500)
We are continuing to partner with Paulin and Violetta to bring the light and grace of Jesus to Kosovo. Our giving will provide support for the ongoing ministry there, helping them develop a church building and contributing toward their outreach through a summer camp (which our team gets to be a part of as well).

MEXICO ($5000)
We are excited to once again send a team of students, young adults and parents to Ensenada Mexico to serve in partnership with Pastor Sami and his wife Eva in their ministry to men, women and teens that have been affected by drug and alcohol abuse. This December a small team will be traveling down to connect with Sami  and Eva and discuss our ministry focus for our 2020 Spring trip.

INDIA: ($2,500)
The people in TenuBihar face extreme hardship – physically, financially, socially through the cast system, and spiritually. Our continued generosity helps to feed kids, show them love, and aid in practical ways which points them to God’s love in Jesus. God is doing great things and we are privileged to continued to partner with Him and Prakash and Karthiga, in this ministry.

We’re excited to welcome you home as a part of our church family. Below are the details we hope will put you at ease and make your experience an inviting one. We love that you’re here!

Visiting a new church can be intimidating.
We understand the many thoughts that come from visiting a new church, so we do our best to make our services as comfortable for our guests as we can.
What’s a service like?
Both of our services are identical and last about 75-80 minutes. Our Sunday services are an opportunity for people to enjoy time together and experience God collectively – whether it’s their first time or they’ve been coming for years.

We preach the gospel as central to every area of life. We uphold Jesus above everything else. And we teach directly from the Bible.
Most often, we teach through entire books of the Bible with messages that usually last about 35-45 minutes. If you want to hear a sample of the preaching before you come, all of our messages are available online.

Because we gather to celebrate and proclaim our salvation through the work of Jesus, we sing songs that are directed towards God and focused on what he has done. And we do so joyfully and loudly.
We have an amazing team of musicians and singers who give their best every weekend to lead us in worship. It’s all for one purpose – not to experience a band, but to experience God. (If it’s a bit too loud for you, don’t worry – we have free earplugs available.)

God loves kids – and so do we! That’s why we’ve created a safe and fun environment for them to learn the gospel and experience God’s love. Every Sunday all children (babies 6 months old through 5th grade) experience age-appropriate environments where the Bible is taught in a creative and relevant way.

We believe that if anyone is going to change the world, it’s the next generation. “Echo” is our student ministries for Middle School students 6th-8th grades and High School students 9th-12th grades. It’s designed to give them a place where they can connect with God, with other people, and have fun.

What should I wear?
We want you to feel comfortable. After all, we’re thrilled that you’re joining us and want you to be more focused on the service than what you’re wearing. In the summertime, it’s not uncommon to see people wearing sandals, shorts, and a shirt. Others prefer to still put on their “Sunday best,” and that’s fine too! We think you’ll fit in no matter how you dress.
Will I be expected to give money?
During each service, regular attenders have the opportunity to give to support God’s work through the ministry of SunHills (though many do this online). As our guest, there’s no expectation or obligation for you to give. If you consider SunHills your church home, we’d love for you to prayerfully consider giving. You can give by check or cash on Sundays or any time during the week online at sunhills.org/give.

First Impressions

“We found SunHills to be an amazing church, with beautiful worship, solid teaching, respect for God’s Word, and friendly members. Not too pushy, yet encouraging, inspiring, and challenging at the same time.
It’s awesome to see His Spirit moving and working in this local church!”
“I love the intimacy of this church. It’s less overwhelming but I can still hide in the crowd when I feel shy. The people I did speak with were very nice and I feel I can easily bring my children with me and we can grow with Jesus together.”
“I appreciated the security measures taken to check my children into their class and that you have a special room for mom’s with infants. This will come in handy when I bring my new baby in a few weeks!”
“SunHills is filled with down-to-earth, friendly people. We value and appreciate that the teachings come straight from the Bible. We’ve learned so much in just 3 weeks!”
