Discussion Questions
  1. Review Galatians 1:10-24. Paul is saying that his message (the gospel) was not man-made but is from God (v11,12). Why does this matter?
  2. In this section, Paul is sharing his story. What is your story? How has the gospel made a difference in your life? Where have you or where could you share that with others?
  3. ‘The gospel gives me a different view of myself’.  Do you tend to see yourself more in light of what you do OR in light of what God has done for you? What difference does this make in your life?
  4. ‘The gospel gives me a different relationship with Jesus’.  How was this true for Paul? Has Jesus become more than an idea or figure of history to you? How has the gospel given you a different relationship with Jesus?
  5. ‘The gospel gives me a different purpose’.  Our change in this area will not be as drastic as Paul’s and it certainly doesn’t mean we all enter full-time ministry but where could you, right now, be a “servant of Christ” and his purpose (v10, 16, 23, 24)?
