Further Reflection, Discussion, and Application
  1. Can you think of a specific time or place where God provided for your need in the midst of a trial or circumstance you were facing?
  2. Identify something specific from your past that you have already brought to God with open hands and given up for Him.
  3. Matthew Henry said, "Whatever is dearest to us upon earth is our Isaac.  And the only way for us to find comfort in an earthly thing, is to give it by faith into the hands of God."  What is your Isaac today?  That is to say, what is God currently asking you for and what prevents you from bringing it to Him?
  4. Can you think of a time when you were frustrated with God because you felt like He had poor timing?
  5. Read Psalm 84:11, 12.  What does this passage say to you?
  6. Consider a time when your own doubt prevented you from seeing clearly the blessing(s) that God had in store for you.  How did God show Himself to be faithful to you?
  7. Is is okay with you if you serve a God that cares more about your character than your comfort?  Why or why not?
  8. In what area of your life are you struggling with doubt of God's provision, timing, or blessing?  Where does your faith need to be fortified?
  9. Are you ready to declare to God, "Here am I"?  Pray to Him, "Show me, grow me, and lead me for I am truly yours and I am all in."
