The focus of student ministries is discipleship. This is accomplished through engaging culture, God, and identity. It seeks to be a safe space where students can connect, have some fun, and hear from God's word.
Pastor of Student Ministry: Kevin Woolums
Kevin became the SunHills Youth Pastor in June 2009 after graduating from Simpson University. He has a degree in Discipleship and Ministry Education with an additional emphasis on Biblical Theology and Clinical Counseling. Kevin has worked in youth ministry for five years, the last three of these as a staff member at his previous church in Redding. He and his wife, Vanessa have been married since August 2007 and make their home in El Dorado Hills.

Impact - Middle School (6th-8th graders). Discussion and small groups - meets at 9:00 in room 101
Connect - High School (9th-12th graders). Discussion and small groups - meets at 10:45 in room 101

Wide Awake - a middle-school ministry (6th-8th graders) that seeks to be energetic, relational, and real as students look to answer the tough questions in life and engage God on a tangible level. Journey
