Be the Church is an opportunity to be the hands and feet of Jesus in our community as we work together to serve and meet real physical needs in the lives of those around us.
Be the Church for 2011 is on Sunday, August 14. We will meet together briefly that morning at 9:00 to pray and receive instructions and then will head out to begin serving!

FOLSOM - Basic facility maintenance and cleaning
FEEDING THE HOMELESS
PLACERVILLE - Prepare and serve lunch to homeless
FEEDING THE HOMELESS
SACRAMENTO - Prepare and serve lunch to homeless
COMMUNITY RESOURCE CENTER
PLACERVILLE - Install a clothes line, closet shelves, and a gutter; plant trees
COMMUNITY RESOURCE CENTER
PLACERVILLE - Repair and stain a deck, cut weeds
FOLSOM CONVALESCENT HOME
Visit with residents, reading, singing
POWERHOUSE MINISTRIES
FOLSOM WOMEN'S SHELTER - Basic construction and maintenance; clean up
POWERHOUSE MINISTRIES
FOLSOM TROUBLED YOUTH SHELTER - Basic construction and maintenance; clean up
HOME REPAIR & MAINTENANCE
EL DORADO HILLS - Disabled, single woman needs help with basic landscape upkeep and minor exterior painting; trim shrubs and pull weeds

CARMICHAEL - Build a wooden backyard fence
GREEN VALLEY SCHOOL
RESCUE - Garden projects in student garden
AGEE MEMORIAL ANIMAL SANCTUARY
EL DORADO HILLS - Basic construction, maintenance and cleaning at local animal sanctuary
VIBE KIDS' CLUB
EL DORADO HILLS BOYS' & GIRLS' CLUB - Help out with games and crafts and spend time with approximately 25 local neighborhood kids
