MISSION UPDATE

As this goes out, our team is in Mexico.  Thank you for your support and your prayers for them during this week!  We’ll have some time to hear highlights from the trip after Easter.  Members of our team will be sharing their experiences and pictures with us during Sunday services on Apr 15 and 22. 

GOOD FRIDAY

Christ’s death is central to the ‘good news’ so before our celebration of His resurrection - Easter - we’ll have a time to reflect on what He has done for us in His death and crucifixion.  Please join us for a special service on Good Friday, April 6 at 7 pm, as we consider Isaiah 53, take communion together, and prepare our hearts for Easter.  KidMin programs will be available for children up through 5th grade. 

EASTER

Easter is a special day to share with family and friends.  Join us as we celebrate the resurrection of our Savior Jesus!  We’ll have services at the regular times – 9 and 10:45 am.  Be intentional in thinking about whom you can invite to share in our celebration.  Look to your ‘Invest and Invite’ cards and feel free to take the Easter postcards at church to use as invitations. 

We expect our services to be very full so if you are able to park in the church office parking lot or on the street, this will allow room for guests.   Thanks for your consideration!

BAPTISM

Baptism is an important step of obedience and identification for us as followers of Christ.  We’re excited to announce we will have a baptism during our service on Sunday, May 6.  We will have one service that morning at 10 am, followed by a celebration lunch.  This is not just for those who will be baptized but is something for us all to share in together so don’t miss it!  (If you are interested in being baptized, please email .)

FREE

‘Christ has set us free’! Our study of the book of Galatians has been leading us to this joyful declaration – we are free in the good news of Jesus. As we come into chapter 5 of Galatians, the tone and focus shifts; really it is building off of the emphasis of chapters 1-4 and applying the freedom we have in Christ to how we live our lives. This will be an important series for us as we ‘stand firm’ in the freedom we have in Christ. We’ll start with Galatians 5 on April 15.

WOMEN’S SPRING CONFERENCE

The Women’s Spring Conference will be held on Saturday, April 28, at the Holiday Inn Express in EDH.  This one-day event is from 9 am to 3 pm and includes a catered lunch.   The theme is “Stuck” - because until we recognize that we are stuck in invisible struggles and in need of God, we will miss what He has for us.  Tickets are $25 and available on Sundays between services or on the SunHills website.  For more information, contact .
