Jackie Adams, Director of Women's Ministry
Raised in El Dorado Hills since third grade, Jackie, her husband Reggie and their three grown daughters have been at SunHills since 1997. Jackie accepted Christ as her Lord and Savior at the age of twenty and began her faith journey. Coming to SunHills has definitely impacted the depth of her faith and provided opportunity to serve the Lord in various ministry areas. Since 1997 she has served on the women’s ministry team and in 2005 became the Director of Women’s Ministry. She is passionate about God, worship, serving, Bible study, and leading others on their faith journey. She loves spending time with her family, listening to worship music, watching volleyball, playing golf, reading and cooking.

Jill Vogel, Director of Children's Ministry
Jill has been actively involved in Children's Ministry since 1999. Her family moved to El Dorado Hills in 2005 and she joined our Children's Ministry staff the following year. She leads our Elementary and Pre-school programs and for the past year, she's also had leadership over our Middle-School program. She grew up in the Bay Area and studied Communication at Cal Poly, where she met her husband, Kent. They have been married twenty-three years have three sons. Jill is currently finishing up her AA in Child Development at Folsom Lake College and also works there as a pre-school teacher. She believes each child is an individual and learns in his/her own way. She is creative in her teaching and has a passion for helping children see God's Word come to life.

Joy Clark, Assistant Director of Children's Ministry
Joy grew up in a Christian home in New Jersey and became a follower of Christ at an early age. Since then, she has been striving to learn and grow in her faith through church, camp, conferences and Bible studies. She met and married Dorr Clark in 1994 and moved to El Dorado Hills in 2000. They quickly found SunHills and have been actively involved in children’s ministry since 2001. Joy was asked to join the children’s ministry staff and has been serving K-5th graders since August 2007. She has a passion for the ministry and for serving others. Joy & Dorr have four children: three girls and one boy.

Jake Owen, Assistant Music Director
Jake has been involved in music since the age of 19 when he became SunHills’ first music intern. He is currently our Assistant Music Director. There is nothing he is more passionate about than connecting people to God through music and the arts. Aside from worshiping at SunHills, Jake enjoys hanging out with good friends, going to the gym, watching movies, and new experiences. He has just completed his debut album, “Where I Belong” (Jake Austin), which you can sample by going to myspace.com/jakeaustinmusic or iTunes. Education: currently attending the school of life. Purpose: to pour his life out in service to God and His Kingdom. Jake values most highly his family, friends, and music.

Heather Waisner, Administrative Secretary
Heather and her husband, Jeff began attending SunHills in 1996 and have called it their church home ever since. Heather became a follower of Christ as a child and renewed her committment to faith in Jesus in 1997. She's involved in Children's Ministry, Hospitality, and Women's Bible Study; she joined the SunHills office staff in 2006. Heather is originally from Colorado and has a business degree from the University of Colorado, Boulder. She and Jeff, and their three boys, live in El Dorado Hills. Heather loves learning - especially study of the Bible, philosophy, and religion - as well as scrapbooking, music, and spending time with her family.
